MBBS Admission process in Andhra Pradesh

MBBS Admission process in Andhra Pradesh 2025 depends on the NEET 2025 scores conducted by the state counselling process proceeded by Dr. NTRUHS.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must have passed the NEET entrance test. Students should be citizens of India.  A minimum of 50% is required for general category students. A minimum of 40% is required for ST and SC students and 45% is required for physically disabled students.

The application fee for NEET 2025 for the general and OBC category is INR 3540. The application fee for NEET 2025 for ST and SC category is 2950.

Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling process

The counseling process of the Andhra Pradesh NEET is distinguished into several steps. These are the following:

Step 1: Visit the official website for AP NEET UG counseling

Step 2: Press on the “New Registration” option to start the application form.

Step 3: After registering, you will be required to fill in your details such as contact number, name, and other basic information. In addition, make sure everything you enter in the right way.

Step 4: Upload a clear passport-size photo of yourself. The photo should be in high contrast. Also, you have to upload your signature in English after scanning it.

Step 5: After that, you will be required to enter the education details like secured marks in high school. Once it is completed. You have to press the save and continue options.

Step 6: After filling out everything, you will be required to pay the counseling fee. This counseling fee is not refundable. You can pay the counseling fee in two modes.

These modes are paid through Bank Challan and paid online. Among these, students select offline payment options through Bank Challan. Download the challan and print it. Students pay the fee at any bank before the deadline. In addition, You can also pay the fee online using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit card. After selecting the payment option, follow the stages to finish the payment. There will be an extra nominal charge for online payments.

Reservation Policies

The reservation criteria for MBBS admission in Andhra Pradesh are described. The percentage of seats reserved for the general category is 50%. The percentage of seats reserved for the SC category is 15%. The percentage of seats reserved for the ST category is 6%. 29% is from the OBC students. Moreover, 1% is reserved for students from the Army and National Cadet Corps categories.
