New Changes in NEET AIQ Counselling 2025
- There are four stages to AIQ counselling: Stage 1, Stage 2, AIQ Mop-up, and AIQ Stray Vacancy.
- There are no upgrades permitted from Round 2.
- Candidates who win seats in Round 2 are not permitted to withdraw or compete in subsequent rounds.
- Candidates who decline a seat in Round 2 must re-register for the Mop-up Round and forfeit their security deposit.

Eligibility: Criteria for NEET 2025 Counselling
- Candidates must have passed NEET 2025.
- Minimum percentile required:
General Category: 50th percentile (Projected Scores: 720-164)
SC/ST/OBC Category: 40th percentile (Projected marks: 163-129)
PwD (General): 45th percentile (expected score: 163-146)
- Applicants must register for counselling on the MCC's official website.
- Students must also register independently for state counselling through state portals.

NEET UG State Counselling 2025
Apart from the 15% AIQ seats, state authorities will manage 85% of the seats in the state quota. Applicants must submit their applications through the portals in their home states. The merit list will be created by state regulations.
Private medical colleges will also provide counselling through state counselling bodies. The information will be available on the websites of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as well as the relevant state health departments.
