The counseling rounds of NEET for Medical/Dental seats in Telangana state are officially authorized by KNRUHS—KNR University of Health Sciences. Once the student qualifies for NEET, they become eligible to get involved in the process of NEET. Students need to apply via MCC to get AIQ seats and through KNRUHS to aim for state quota seats if they want to pursue MBBS in the state of Telangana Government. In Telangana state, the number of government colleges is 26, along with 23 private colleges. The government colleges occupy 3890,   where 583 are   set out to be allotted by AIQ (All India Quota), while the rest of the 3307 seats will be conducted through the state counselling process. The seats in private colleges, which are 4625, will be filled by state counseling.

KNR University of Health Science administers the admission process of the candidates applying to the state medical college & dental colleges in Telangana.

The counseling round was arranged for 85% of the seats in state government as well as all the seats in the private colleges. The round includes two session viz; Round 1st & Round 2nd, respectively, with the addition of mop-up, spot round or physical round. Those students who have the state domicile of Telangana are eligible for the seats of government. The Physical verification of the documents was carried out before the process of NEET UG Counselling. In case you have any confusion over the categorization of different seats, please do refer to the list provided below.

There are three different categories of seats in Telangana:

  • Category C – NRI Quota Seats

Select Your University: Inferences On The Allocation Of Seats In Telangana

According to the result of our speculation, it is quite effortless with state rather than All India Quota (A.I.Q.) in the state of Telangana. For the general category’s 1st round, the rank of the last allotted seat in Government Medical College, Suryapet, through state counseling was 27783. On the other hand, the final allotment via AIQ had the rank of 9948 in Government Medical College, Nalgonda.

The demand for seats in medical colleges of Telangana is much higher. Therefore, the cutoff is consequently excessive in the year 2023 too. It’s our recommendation to always consider a second option with an equivalency in their quality of education in case you couldn't make it till the end.

Seeking an opinion from the experienced mentor or expert keeps you aware of all the privileged information so you can become competent to deal with any alternative situation. Even the cutoffs of the Pvt. Medical colleges are huge.
