Sholapur Social Association's Arts and Commerce College, Solapur, established in 1978, is a renowned institution dedicated to providing education from undergraduate to Ph.D. levels. Managed by the Sholapur Social Association, founded in 1953, the college primarily serves the minority community by offering quality education in the mother tongue. It is permanently affiliated with Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur, and holds both Muslim Religious Minority and Urdu Linguistic Minority statuses from the Government of Maharashtra. The college offers B.A. degrees with specializations in English, Geography, and Urdu; B.Com degrees with a focus on Advanced Accounting; and M.A. degrees with a specialization in Urdu. Notably, it is the only affiliated college under PAH Solapur University that provides M.A. and Ph.D. programs in Urdu.
