Christ University was founded as a college in 1969 in Bangalore. Now it has gained the recognition of UGC and has been accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by NAAC. As per the NIRF rankings 2024, the university also ranks #60 in the University category and 90th in the overall category. It is also a member of UNAI, AICTE, BCI, and NCTE.
Christ University Bangalore offers over 300 courses across several specializations such as Management, Science, Law, etc for UG, PG, and PhD students. The university is mainly famous for its flagship programs Such as MBA, BTech, and Law courses. Students need to take an entrance test (for most courses) for admission at Christ University. The test is called the Christ University Entrance test and some other considered entrance tests are CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, Karnataka PGCET, GMAT, and GRE. Students need to score at least 60 % in entrance exams like XAT, CAT, ATMA, and CMAT for MBA admissions at the university.
Christ University has three main campuses in Bangalore– Central campus, Kengeri campus, and Bannerghatta campus. The central and main campus is spread over 25 acres and offers world-class amenities such as a library with 1 million books, computer labs, laboratories, sports facilities, canteen, etc to its students.
On top of that, Christ University Bangalore provides a strong placement cell to meritorious students every year. In 2023, DE Shaw & Co. offered the all-time highest package of INR 15 LPA and Travista selected over 70 students from the university and offered great salary packages to them. Admissions
Christ University takes admission based on entrance exams and merits scored in previous qualifying exams.
