Grant Government Medical College is a government college founded in 1845. The foundation step to make this college was made on 30th March 1843, and was opened on 1st November 1845. They admitted the first batch of students which was of 8 students. Scholarships

At Gant Medical College the scholarship is offered to the economically weaker sections (EWS) and the reserve category students stated by the government. Also, the students can apply for various state-level - and national-level scholarships.  Some of the Scholarships are mentioned below:
