IIIT Bhopal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Bhopal) is a public- private institution which was established in the year 2017. The Institute is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in India. IIIT Hyderabad has not acquired any ranking till yet from NIRF but is gaining fame for its excellence in placement. IIIT is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

IIT popular courses consist of Undergraduate and postgraduate programs which consist of BTECH, MTECH(Regular/Full Time), MTECH(Professional/Half-Time) ,MCA. The eligibility criteria of IIT Bhopal includes 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science as their core subjects. There is a requirement of  minimum aggregate score of 75% in their 12th standard (65% for SC/ST candidates), or the candidate must be in the top 20 percentile of their respective board examinations .Admission is based on the JEE Main exam for getting admitted into BTECH and GATE for MTECH.

IIT Bhopal placement rate is 99% in the year 2023. The highest package which was offered was ₹60 LPA ( by LinkedIn) and the average package of the institute is approximately equal to ₹20.51 LPA. The top recruiters of the college include LinkedIn, Oracle, Amazon, JPMC(J.P. Morgan Chase), Samsung etc.

IIT provides scholarships to its students under various government schemes the scholarships are namely Central Sector Scholarship for SC/ST Students, National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Schemes, State Government Scholarships. The Cutoffs of the college is based on their JEE ranks. Cutoffs varies each year with respective to its branch and category precisely the ranking are as follows  CSE: 16,000–25,000 (General category), IT: 20,000–30,000 (General category), ECE: 30,000–40,000 (General category)
