Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) was founded on October 1st, 2009 in the city of Karlsruhe, Germany. The university was formed by the merged University of Karlsruhe started in 1825 and the Karlsruhe Research Center which was established in 1956. It is commonly known for its research and technical courses to study BSc engineering in Germany. It has several branches in Dresden, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Ulm.
