Kongu Engineering College (KEC) was established in 1983 in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu and is known as a leading autonomous college for professional education. Affiliated with Anna University, KEC is accredited by NAAC with an “A++” certificate. The programs available at the college are B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc, M.E., M.Tech, MBA, and M.Sc. The courses in B.Tech and B.E. include Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and 12 others. Courses in M.E. include Structural Engineering and VLSI Design among others. B.Sc and M.Sc courses include disciplines line Computer Systems, Software Systems and Information Systems.
