About Oryol City
Orel is the city located on the sides of the Oka River in the European part of Russia and about 364 km south-west of Moscow. The city is the capital of the Oryol region which is the educational and cultural center of central Russia. The city was founded in 1566 in accordance with the southern borders of the state.
The Oryol city has a moderate continental climate. Winters are moderately cold and summers have extremely hot and cold weather. The average temperature in the middle of January is -6.7°C and the mid-temperature in July is 20.5°C.
