Complete 6 years of medicine course offered for the candidates coming from different parts of the world:

The entire course of the MBBS program lasts for six years at Sofia Medical University.

The medical program is organised in three stages -

Preclinical training offers fundamental biological and medical knowledge to the students.
Clinical training aims at the acquisition of knowledge and skills in diagnostics and treatment after the third year which is organized in a modular system.
Pre Graduation practice is provided at the departments of the University hospitals, where the students will acquire the application of knowledge and skills at the patient bedside and the outpatient’s clinics under professional guidance.
In the final state examination, the students must give 5 exams in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Hygiene and Ecology.
The graduates completing the MBBS program at Sofia Medical University are conferred the “Master” degree and qualification “Physician”.
