Overview
NTA conducts NEET as India's national medical entrance exam for MBBS BDS and UG medical programs. The exam consists of physics, chemistry, and biology multiple-choice questions drawn from the Class 11 and 12 school curriculum/syllabus. Students must take NEET to be considered for entry into AIIMS, JIPMER, and state/central university medical programs through this single admission exam.

Important Dates
The NEET 2025 application period begins on 7 February 2025 and takes one month to complete. Follow a short waiting period after the deadline submission to initiate the application form edits. The NTA plans to conduct NEET 2025 in May 2025 once all application processes end on 7 March 2025. Students will receive their admit cards 2 to 3 weeks before taking this exam. After students get their exam results in June 2025, they must progress to the counseling phase for admission.
