Overview
NTA conducts NEET as India's national medical entrance exam for MBBS BDS and UG medical programs. The exam consists of physics, chemistry, and biology multiple-choice questions drawn from the Class 11 and 12 school curriculum/syllabus. Students must take NEET to be considered for entry into AIIMS, JIPMER, and state/central university medical programs through this single admission exam.

Important Dates
The NEET 2025 application period begins in March 2025 and takes one month to complete. Follow a short waiting period after deadline submission to initiate the application form edits. The NTA plans to conduct NEET 2025 in May 2025 once all application processes end in March 2025. Students will receive their admit cards 2 to 3 weeks before taking this exam. After students get their exam results in June 2025 they must progress to the counseling phase for admission entrance.
